About the Artist

Sandy Caracciolo began her journey into the world of art at a young age.  Her talent was quickly recognized by those around her and she enrolled in art classes.  Her skill and desire continued to grow. As a young teenager she won a contest sponsored by Baskin & Robbins ice cream for her depicting of a construction crew creating the perfect ice cream sundae!  Her prize: free ice cream for  a year!  Her work was displayed in a children’s hospital.  She enrolled in the High School of Art & Design and on the side would paint rock n roll album covers on the backs of what turned out to be hundreds of denim jackets.  After high school, she went on to study at Parsons School of Design.  She has studied art for years and is adept in a plethora of painting styles.  She currently spends her free time painting large murals for children’s hospitals around the world through the organization Splashes of Hope.  Sandy is available for commissions.
